2026 Attractions

Academy for Science and Design

Take a trip to space without ever leaving Wicked STEM! The Academy for Science and Design is bringing its portable planetarium for an immersive journey into the night sky.

Step inside the inflatable dome, look up and watch the space above you transform into a planetarium. Explore the wonders of astronomy, see the night sky from a whole new perspective and discover just how much there is to learn beyond our planet.

Whether you’re an aspiring astronaut, a future scientist or simply curious about what’s out there, the portable planetarium is an experience you won’t want to miss.

UNH STEM-MoBILE

Science is hitting the road! The University of New Hampshire’s STEM-MoBILE — short for STEM Mobile Biofabrication Integrated Lab Experience — is bringing its traveling laboratory to Wicked STEM.

Step aboard and get a hands-on introduction to biofabrication, the cutting-edge field that brings together biology, engineering, manufacturing and technology to create biological materials and living tissues.

Visitors can explore laboratory equipment, try a hands-on activity and discover the science — and careers — helping make New Hampshire’s growing biofabrication industry possible.

FIRST New Hampshire

FIRST Robotics will demonstrate student-built robots and showcase several of its competition programs.

FIRST LEGO League:
Explore a variety of student-built robots and preview the 2026 BIOGLOW Challenge.

FIRST Tech Challenge:
Watch medium-sized robots compete on a 12-foot-by-12-foot game field.

FIRST Robotics Competition:
See 150-pound robots demonstrate the latest REBUILT game challenge.

ARMI

Get a hands-on look at the science behind regenerative manufacturing. ARMI’s exhibit will feature a lab-based pipetting activity, ghost (decellularized) organs and other cell-based products on display, along with educational resources and information about careers in the field.

University of Maine Engineering and Physics

Meet students from the University of Maine’s Engineering Physics program, try hands-on engineering activities and experience interactive demonstrations from the Mainely Physics Roadshow. Families can also learn about the innovative programs offered through UMaine’s Maine College of Engineering and Computing.

SNHU Engineering & Technology Open House

While you’re on campus for Wicked STEM, take the opportunity to explore even more of what Southern New Hampshire University has to offer.

SNHU’s School of Engineering, Technology and Aeronautics will open its doors to give visitors a closer look at its programs, facilities and hands-on approach to learning.

Discover how students turn ideas into real-world projects through engineering design, virtual reality, 3D printing and other emerging technologies — and learn about the education and career paths that can turn an interest in STEM into a future.
